ProVia Single Hung and Single Slider Windows
ProVia has added true Single Hung and Single Slider configurations to its Endure vinyl window line.
The new windows feature welded frames and sashes, a fixed meeting rail, exterior glazing on the active glass unit, and a half FlexScreen. The active sash uses Profile DA hardware that allows the sash to lock, unlock, and tilt with a single motion. The windows are available with multiple nail fin options and an integrated stucco flange.
Single Hung and Single Slider windows can be ordered with privacy, tinted, or decorative glass, internal blinds, and grille options. Multiple interior vinyl and laminate colors, along with exterior paint colors, are also available.
“We’re excited to add these single configurations to our Endure offering,” says Julie Monroy, product manager for vinyl windows and patio doors. “These energy-efficient, space-saving windows allow our customers to offer homeowners an economical, functional, and low-maintenance option.”
FastenMaster MarineLOK structural fasteners
FastenMaster has introduced MarineLOK, a heavy-duty 316 stainless steel structural screw designed for wood-to-wood connections in marine and coastal environments.
The fastener is intended for applications within 1,000 feet of saltwater, including docks, boardwalks, boat houses, marine decking, and other structures where corrosion resistance is a primary consideration. MarineLOK is designed as an alternative to 1/2-inch lag screws.
MarineLOK features a patent-pending design that combines a Type-17 point, serrated cutting teeth, and wood-clearing inner threads to improve installation. The fastener also incorporates a T50 drive system for driver engagement and a SureSink head designed to provide a flush finish.
MarineLOK fasteners are available in 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, 8-, and 10-inch lengths. Each package contains 30 fasteners and includes a T50 driver bit.
